Rep Power: 0 Blown Shocks: Warranty?
I remember reading someone saying that if you lower the car a certain height you won't void warranty on shocks if they blow? Is this true?

Rep Power: 0 hey klam, the second you put on after market springs, your suspension warranty is out the window......you are changing the mechanics and design of your oem system, under no circumstance will you find a dealer who will warranty shocks with any kinda drop, even a .5 inch drop.........hey i got a 2.0 drop and about 17000 k's, shocks are still in good shape, none are blown....car was droped by honda before i took delivery of it....

Rep Power: 0 There isn't much for warranty coverage on things like shocks, brake likings, and other wear and tear parts anyhow. Go ahead and drop it, or if you can afford it, put on a set of Koni's at the same time.

Rep Power: 0 1973: How did you get your car dropped straight from the dealer? How is the ride at 2" on Toronto roads?
Bartkat: How do you like your Eibach Pro-Kit and Koni? That's the exact set up I was looking at.

Rep Power: 0 Yeah touch your springs and it is void. I had only know one guy here who blew his shocks and it was all stock so it was covered. Just drop it and buy shocks and stuff for it as you go. But watch how low you go. If ypou go to low you will blow it to soon. Good luck

Rep Power: 0 What if you were to blow your shocks and then throw your factory springs in, take it to the dealer and say "hey, something is wrong with my car, it is riding like ****"...haha...think it could work?...

Rep Power: 0 The question is.... would the dealership find out if you replaced your aftermarket springs with stock ones with the intent of getting shocks fixed for warranty?

Rep Power: 0 Well, HONDA sold me the H&R springs for our civic, so that gives them no right to be able to void my warranty. If you want to keep your warranty go with whatever honda recommends to drop your car.
