Carbon Rooof???

Carbon Rooof??? whats good people...... Just wondering if anyone knows about any spots in NJ were they custom lay carbon fiber onto roofs....I have seen it done before but I need to know were to get it done at ??? anyone know anything???

I am in the process of getting a Carbon Fiber Hood and trunk from TrueHonda.com. I will then be taking the car to the body shop and having them paint the roof and grill. I am not trying to RICE it out. I just like the whole two tone look. Then Carbon Hood and Trunk lid with the charcole roof looks hot.
But yea anyways, It would be a little ricey but if that's what you want then do it. It's your car and your money so do what you like. The only bad thing is, if you do it, it's nearly impossible to get off. The adhesive on the cf is super super stickey and get hard as hell once it dries. So if you ever take it off, plan on repainting.

I am just wanting it to match. I mean it is Dark Blue and with the Carbon Hood and Trunk Lid and Dark Sun Roof it would look Hot 
if I painted the rest of the roof Black. Just my openion. to be honest, i think the black roof would actually take away from the look you have going. that's really the only reason i don't have a c/f hood and trunk on mine. i think the black would be too much of a contrast to the c/f and would actually make it stand out so much as to clash. but it's your car, just be sure about it cause like someone else said, that adhesive is strong. you're gonna be repainting if you ever decide to un-do it.

Don't be telling people they are a dumbass when you are the one thats a dumbass. Carbon fiber is a lot more brittle than metal so if you should flip your car the carbonfiber would simply just shatter or break apart to pieces
^^its a carbon fiber overlay!!! so whatever he has on the roof is still going to be on there. The CF is going to just be layed on top of the metal that is ALREADY on this roof. Thats why he said it would make it stronger since now you have an extra layer.

I'm not the one thats a dumbass, I just misunderstood that he wanted to replace his entire roof not just do a stupid overlay. This forums is freakin stupid all of you go for cosmetics and looks why dont you put your car to use and race it

So you can't go around and call peple stupid because they want to do things that are cosmetic. I'm pretty sure everyone misunderstood the orginal question, but you brought it on yourself. Not everyone is about racing and all this other stuff. show cars are used everything single day.
