New Tires

Hey Guys

I'm wanting to replace my stock tires with 17'' low profile tires. Does any one recomend a brand I should get,or just get what tire discounters sells, thanks for the imput.

if your wanna go least expensive stick to the yok avid h4 or kumho 712 thats what i have...
if you want something z rated the possibilites are endless...yokohama parada's or nitto 450's are good in my opinion...[IMG]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/IMG]

with my civic (2002 ex coupe) its recommended that i get 215/45/17. use the tire calc

45s = smaller wheel well gap though... that is if you aren't dropping your car... I'm getting Konig Flatlines in 215/40/17 Toyo tires... 2 of my friends have had toyo tires for awhile now... they seem like they are a good brand

If you go with 18's I would say get 40's. I have 18s with 35's and was a different diameter than stock. 40's will keep it closer, and be more protection to your rims. But no matter what, your are gonna want to drop it, I didnt think the wheel gap would be that big...but damn its a nice size!

I don't know how roads are where your from but in Oklahoma the roads suck,potholes ect. I had 205 40 17's and dented 2 rims even with extremely careful driving.I switched to 215 40 17 Toyo proxes FZ4's and haven't had a problem yet,running 47psi
