Need to know what to do with a CF hood during the winter??
hi guys.. i just have some question about CF hood that all.. well i have a cf hood on my car.. and winter is coming... i kind of trader away my stock hood and got the cf hood.. anyway.. so i were just wondering will the snow do anything harm to the cf hood?? or what do i need to do.. or put on wax or what ever?? i just want to know is it ok to let the snow to get on the hood?? thx guys
OMG NOOOOO do NOT let snow get on it!!! omg EVERYONE knows that CF blows up when SNOW hits it! lol just kidding dude. snow wont hurt it man haha its just frozen water and you WASH you hood dont you? point made! haha dont worry so much. but do keep that bish waxed once in a while and clean and out of the sun as much as possible so it wont fade.

just put your oem one back on, thats what i do. Besides, why risk smashing it when snow or ice wont let you stop until the car infront of you becomes your brakes...lol.
I have a CF hood on my car right now, I waxed it last Friday and a week later it had 15in. of snow on it plus a 1/4in layer of ice. Its still good, but my hood cracked in sept. which was only 2 months after I got it.
So snow is fine for CF, even a **** ton cause mine got it's test on friday.
