AFTERMARKET Moonroof...???

Just curious to know if anyone else has one. I personally do on my LX coupe. A company named ASC (American Sunroof Company) manufactures and installed it. I couldn't be more happy with it. Just wonderin if anyone else has one and what they think about it.

glad that you like it! i always heard they had too many problems and the price wasnt worth it. i also heard it decreased the body strength of the car in a crash, eliminating the beam that comes horizontal with the body...but what do i know!

ASC installed it themselves? That is sweet. There head quarters is right by me and I have gotten to go in and see some of their work in progress before. They do really nice work. Is a shame that Heinz Pretcher is dead though. Hope the business stays the same.

WhopSi: for $650 Can, I'm assuming you got the manual pop-up moonroof, not the powered one, right?

Holy crap, that's an incredible price. So it tilts, and slides back, and all that stuff? And you got a sliding shade on the inside too?

I think one of the moderators here got an aftermarket one (Blah I think), but he paid $1000 US for his.

I'm telling you, I honestly love it. No problems at all in the car wash, during a rainy day, or washing it with a hose. I'm very happy with it, and the amazing thing is, is that it looks as if it came with the car. The second my scanner starts working i'll be getting some pics up
