I dont know anything about how to run headers and I have a question. The down pipe conncets to the header on one end but what does it connect to on the other. Since that pipe has the same shape on both ends I cant figure out where it goes.
Looks nice tough.

i've never seen this before. i'm pretty sure you'll be illegal emissions-wise. i'm confused why the auction is for the 01-02 civic even though it says that it'll fit older gens. i'm pretty sure that area of our cars are different from them
This down pipe is great for LX owners(like me). It would bolt on after the Lx cat and it would allow us to bolt on any EX exhayst system. It replaces the space where the EX cat is. Thats how I understand the LX and EX exhaust setups, what do you guys think? Right? Wrong?????

it bolts to the bottom of the 4-1 header. it has the o2 sensor for the one up above but not for the one down where the stock cat is. this REPLACES the stock cat guys. it looks just like a flow-through to me.

Well, here are my thoughts.....
1. Other than Hp Header w/ high flow cat....and APC.....the only really "AFFORDABLE" headers are DC "Upper Only" and HP has an "Upper Only" header.....both of which utilize ceramic coated mild steel and DC offers a stainless steel(to high priced)..."HOWEVER"...this product can actually give a true 4-1 header composite from two manufacturers....as well as provide a complete stainless steel header system if you buy a high priced DC sports header.......so total package would be about $350+$155 or a little over $500 w/ shipping costs...HMMMMM pretty steep for gains not much to probably brag on.....Now my opinion on Chrome is save your money and buy ceramic or stainless...I will not trust chromed products like stainless or ceramic coated products from ferrous oxide attack.....but this does give just another possible "SLIGHT" HP gain ..but at what price are we willing to spend??????...anyway I like the product..peace!!!!!!

Hey all, I just won the auction for the downpipe. I emailed him too, and he told me it has 2 o2 sensors and it is a direct bolt-on. I already have an OBX cat back exhaust and DC header, so this should fill the gap between the 2. It should yield good gains because it gets rid of the low restriction stock cat and replaces it with a high flow one. Hopefully I get it sometime next week and can get it installed that weekend. I'll definitly post what I think of it. It seems pretty easy to install. Later....
