Rep Power: 0 Skyline Front Being Delivered @ 3pm Today!!!
Hey guys, just wanted to update you on the delivery of my skyline style bumper. I just got off the phone with the freight company and it is being dropped off at my house at 3pm today. I'm so pumped!! I'll hopefully have it painted sometime this week and I'll install it myself probably this weekend. I'll take plenty of pics. If someone in Tucson with a digi wants to come by and check it out, the pics could be up faster....
I'm probably gonna get the OEM sides and back sometime later this month. I think it will match well with the front...

Rep Power: 0 Nope, not gonna do the flares. Flares only belong on cars that are fast and look with them. Our civics aren't fast and they don't look good with them... so no...
I'll post pics of the bumper before and after painting...

Rep Power: 0 I am really ticked!!! I opened the box and guess what? There is a damn crack in the bumper. I'm trying to get a hold of WestCoast Spoilers to get like half of my money back. That way it saves the both of us the hassle of shipping it back and forth and it still costs them less money. It shouldn't cost me too much to have it fixed at the shop. The crack isn't bad, but it is there. I'm so bummed right now...

Rep Power: 0 The crack was due to the freight company being careless. I'm in the midst of working out a deal with the supplier. THebumper looks great though. Totally different than anything else out for our cars...

Rep Power: 0 I was supposed to get it for $225 shipped, but ended up paying $295. That's one time deal though since my friend who owns a shop hooked it up for me. Got to call them back today and see what is gonna happen with the bumper. He might refund me enough money to have it repaired and stuff, so I'll see. I wish I had a digi guys, because I took it out to my car yesterday just to see what it looked like. I was like WOW!!! And that was without the lower lip. It's just like the skyline front and has that bottom lip that makes it look even lower... I'll post pics as soon as I can... Thanks for the moral support btw...

Rep Power: 0 I've got an update for you boys. My friend that ordered the bumper for me talked with the manager at WCS, and basically told him that it's not cool to be giving me the runaround. So, what's gonna happen now is that WCS is gonna refund part or if not all of my money so that I can use that to have the bumper fixed and installed. Pretty cool.
BTW, yes the bumper is fiberglass. i know it is not nearly as durable as poly, but to me it was worth the risk to have something no one else has at the moment. Being unique has its disadvantages sometimes... The cracks are not bad. The first on is on the "slat" for the grill. I'm gonna tell the guy at the body shop to just cut that part off and reglass the edges smooth. That way it will have a big grill opening like on the altezza style grills. The second crack is on the corner where the bumper meets the fender (at the fender well). That one isn't too bad, so it shouldn't be too difficult to fix.
I have the money to take it to the shop and get the work done, but I just wanna play it safe and wait till I get my money refunded. Patience is a virtue...
EDIT: I finally decided that I was tired of not having a digi the other day, so I went on eBay and just bought one. It should be here on Sat, so I'll take the bumper out to the car and take some pics for you guys...

Rep Power: 0 Digi was supposed to be here Sat, damn USPS I was told if it didn't come in Sat, today (Mon).
And yes, they do make a whole kit. But I think the side skirts have to be molded and I didn't feel like putting something on my car that is not reversable to stock form... WCS wants me to do the whole kit, but I said no...
Just be patient guys. I have been swamped at work and don't have much time for anything when I get home. I'll put up some pics as soon as I can. I promise...

Rep Power: 0 Ok guys, it's raining outside rightnow, so no pics with bumper on my car. But I took this one from my living room...
Let me note that I couldn't get the lower lip to stay in place for a pic, so it's not in the pic.
Tell me what you think...
