A friend of mine is planning on moving across the country with her 05 Civic EX sedan and I am helping. She is trying to find a way to get a little more space. Our assumption is that Uhaul trailers are probably a bad idea, and that much space is probably not neccessary.
I figured a roof-top luggage carrier might be a good solution. Something like this:

My question is, does anyone know if something like this will work? We don't want the windows down, so it would need to attach inside the doors. Has anyone had any experience with something like this?
