Another Short Shift Post
Here is my question that has not been answered in any search. Is the Revo Short Shifter unique in that it reduces throw and height? Or is it just the reduced height that causes the illusion of tighter shifts? If it is just the height then a DIY is the way to go, if not I will buy the revo. Hopefully someone can answer?
carboncivic - you did not answer his question, he wants to know if the revo is actually designed to reduce the throw (different connection points for the cables, etc.) or is it the fact that it is just shorter that gives the feel and effect of shorter throws?

I have the revo and I love it. I have beat many cars simply because I have the ability to shift faster. While the shifter is about an inch shorter, it does reduce the throw by a very noticable amount. It is the exact same setup, but the difference comes in the lengh of the shifter, and I also noticed that the spot that the cables hook up to is a bit different also. If you get it, I promise you won't be dissappointed.
