if your referring to the d17 motor, a straight pipe will be a big upgrade for the boosted owners. but for non built/tuned, both are equally the same IMO. i run the test pipe and prefer the hi-flow cat due to emissions and the annoying cel light i get from the test pipe.

i would go with the true hi-flow cat over any test pipe.

catless > all, just use non-foulers and you wont have to worry about the CEL. If you have to test for emissions frequently, go high flow, if you dont give a crap, straight pipe.
