i dont think it would look good, it would look out of place if u have a light silver such as SSM, RR, fiji blue.... ummmmm if u have black maybe it would look good

if made correctly carbon fiber is much stronger than metal used in cars. if not... its not going to be pretty in a crash

I saw a couple of cars with carbon doors at IDRC show this last weekend. one was a ssm 03 si and another was a yellow lancer. Not my style but I wonder if there is any actual wieght savings.

you would think that there would be more weight saved than a hood or probably a trunk cause it seems like there is more metal in the doors. And plus if you carry a wallet when you drive theres a shiatload more weight redux.

Yeah it is, If they used a layer of aluminum honeycomb inbeetween the carbon. It doesnt look like they didnt and it would probably be more expensive if they had. Looks like there is reneforcing bars there I dont know if thats where they would be in the stock door, ive never taken mine apart. Those bars are the real safety, sheet metal does practical nothing in a colision. A thin sheet of carbon really would do much either, it really depends on how much they used.
