CF hood drilling.

ok, so here is the problem. i got my CF key lock hood pins. it will look clean cause the spacers/circle thingys are CF too. anyway, i got told that if i drill into CF i need a CF drill BIT. so anyway, is this true? someone let me know. thanx!!!

Go to the hardware store and say you want the softest drip-bit possible! Mabe a fine wood drill bit?? Ask gearbox! he did it with a regular drill bit.

its good so your hood doesn't fly up on the freeway. the latch can come apart off of the hood sometimes.

then mark it with a marker
i also used a small thin bit and drilled up at first and used a bigger bit to drill down after

When my friend installed my hoodpins, he first used the smallest drillbit to get a small hole going then increased the size going through more and more drillbits. I believed it was a set of metal bits

i used a dremel to install mine.. worked like a charm.. scariest freakin installation ever.. just the mere fact of cutting into a perfectly good c/f hood..
