lip question????

will a rear lip for a coupe fit a sedan if not why? what causes it not to fit... are the lengths different? thanks!! oh yea and i did search the forums.....

we are talking about the rear right? just making sure... so an entire lip kit for a coupe will work with a sedan? thanks guys i appreciate it.... can't wait to get back home from this deployment.... 6 more months!!! then back home to my car and updating everything..... frankenstien engine, rims, drop, the works.....

The front bumper and rear bumper are the same on the coupe and sedan. The sideskirts are different.

as stated above...the front and rear lips ARE interchangable between coupes and sedans....sideskirts are NOT interchangeable between coupes and sedans

lip kits are just additions to the bumpers, you don't have to change the bumpers. They are all the same at the bottom where the lips connect

^^ Your right the sedans have different rears cause of the lights. But I think the fronts are the same on both coupes and sedans but i could be wrong.

wow way too much misinformation here. sedan and coupe have completely different rear ends. The sedan has a shorter trunk for one thing. I don't know about all lip kits, but with the oem it definately doesn't fit on the way it should. you can force it on, and drill new screw holes underneath to hold it up, but it will stick out about an extra inch or two from the bumper (it doesn't stay flat). Now with other kits this could be a problem. the oem kit happens to go on and look decent but believe me that in the technical sense it does not fit. front and sides for the oem kit are a perfect fit on sedans and coupes.
