i did a seach but couldnt find what specific type of bulb we need for are 2k1 civics as far as hyperwhites go

Are you asking the type of bulb or the brand... Well if you are asking type then any h4 bulb would fit... as for brand it depends on how much you want to spend....

take a trip to your local autozone, and get the model: 9003 (H4). The box should say hyperwhite or something like that it is brighter than others. Should cost like $20-$40 a bulb, depending on quality.

There is a place over here in Arizona...that is selling a pair of bulbs for $12 plus shipping. Their web page is Landspeed Racing.
Most of the time you see them listed as H4.
