Paint chipping normal?

Hey guys i just got the body club 2 installed and painted at a reputable body shop in my area. its been like a month and i already have a good amount of rock chips on my front bumper. Also on the sides of the side skirts where the tire is the paint is almost all gone! is this normal???? my car is a daily driver...should i take it back to the shop? thanks for any input

Nope this is not normal unless you are driving through a rocky road everyday. I would take it back to the shop. If the shop did it correctly there will be no chipping, unless you hit that piece. Usually chipping occurs when the proper priming was not used. Take it back,

my friend who had his sideskirts painted and put on had ask the bodyshop to put clear 3M on the front of the sideskirt and the rear in front of the tires...(if that makes any sense) because it acted like a protection from dirt kicking up from daily driving.....about the front bumper...if you drive fast and close behind vehicles in front of you, you're bound to get rock chips on the front bumper...i dont drive fast but when im on the highway sometimes big trucks or even small cars will all of a sudden get in front of me and kick up rocks onto my front bumper.....however if the paint is really chipping away then yea, bring it to the body shop......(hope this helps if at all)

Transformer_Guy is on a distinguished road
Lots of things cause the chipping and you cant prevent it unless you wrap the front in 3M tape. Driving on the highway will cause it to chip real easy, has nothing to do with the primer or clearcoat (unless they do like 5 coats of it). I doubt the body shop will repaint it for you, its common. Both my R34 and stock bumper are riddled with stonechips.
