Has anyone used the simulated vinyl carbon fiber self adhesive stuff???
Is it crap or actually worth looking into.....I dont have to knowledge to do fiberglass or carbon fiber, but i would love to look into it, but i can't find any good guides....any suggestions?

it's not worth looking into and if you have no experience with fiberglass then i wouldnt attempt it based off of a guide. and as far as doing your own carbon fiber....Originally Posted by creative360

so, what about the simulated vinyl stuff??? Is it crap or does it actually look decent enough to do? Does heat make it peel easy or become unstuck??
Most of it looks like crap, but depends on quality...
all of the samples I've seen look like ***. black sheet speeckled with silver rectangles. super waste of money. I laugh everytime I see it on anything.
it depends, where do you plan on putting the vinyl on? I have some pieces on my dash covered with it and it's been good going on 2 years.
i was gonna go with the cf dash kit but it did look kinda chessy so i decided to go with the chrome dash kit and i get compliments all the time and i am so happy with my decision
I went with a real cf dash kit. I love it. I get alot of compliments on it and the quality is great. Got mine from www.nycdashes.com for about 180 or so.
