Rep Power: 0 DON'T try this at home!
Just intalled my koni's. took me about 8 hours. The back only took about an hour. they were a piece of cake. the front were a pain in my booty. Drilling, cuttin, it sucked. if you don't have much technical experience and the right tools, i don't suggest doing these without the help of someone who knows what they are doing.
As far as the ride goes, it rocks! I can still feel the road but there is no aftershock, or bounciness. speed bumps are no longer a problem. i don't think i could bottom out if i tried. The handling is intense. i probably added another 5 mph on my sharp curves. I know its been said before, but its the best money i've spent yet. Any questions about installation or performance, just let me know..
Next install, TCS. Should be here tomorrow or monday

Rep Power: 0 Hey Rhyno...Noticed you were running Ground Controls and had both the front & rear Eibach Camber kit. Where did you pick up the Eibach Camber kits and what did they run?
Oh by the way... nice ride ! I'm really starting to like Inca Pearl !

Rep Power: 0 aemcivic: ordered them from rob at tornactive for 550, shipping included.
BLV: gc coilovers, work great together, just need to remember to get the attachment rings for the rear if you go with that combo.
BAK: tirerack.com. about 170. haven't actually gotten them, still waiting for them to come in. there is a group buy for the ingalls right now to for 160 shipped. Oh, thanks for props. car looks a little different right now, pics are old. haven't gotten around to taking new ones. Nothing drastically different though.

Rep Power: 0 I just put my rear ones on last night and I like them alot. I had trouble getting them to fit on the bottom though. Now I just have to put the front ones on. I cant tell when to stop turning them for firm. I tried to just stop at 360 degrees but its hard to tell.

What did you have to drill and cut? I plan on buying these shocks and I'm having my dad and a relative help. My dad was a big car guy in the past and knows how to fix cars. My relative works for a tire shop that deals with suspensions. So I think I would be ok with the three of us. I can't and don't want to imagine how much the labor would be to have a shop do it. I also plan on buying camber kits for the front and rear, and I have springs on the way. Do you or anyone think I could have all this done in one day. I have air tools. Shocks, springs, camber kits front and rear.

Rep Power: 0 I can't believe you guys are actually doing this on your own! Well i guess if you have the tools why not, but with the ghetto instructions that came with the koni's i didn't wanna mess with the front struts. The rears i put on myself there's nothing to it, but you need serious cutting tools to get a perfect cut on those struts, how'd you do it?

Rep Power: 0 I just got my konis installed last night. The ride is great. I still don't know how to adjust the ride. I have ground control with the shocks. I'm not sure but you don't need an attachment to work.

Rep Power: 0 Can anyone put a link to the group buy on the Ingalls Camber kit? I've never checked out the group buys and for that price, I can't afford not to pick up the Ingalls now !!!

Why do you think you need a camber kit with airbags? Its kinda hard to correct an ever changing camber!

Rep Power: 0 Good to hear you got them installed alright. Play with the damping on the Koni's until you get them where you like it, and then give your car a couple weeks. You will have to adjust your GC's to make sure they are all even(at least both fronts matching, and both rears matching). You car will settle just a hair, and then you will be riding smoother than it is now.

You're right, I can only set the camber for a certain height. What I'll do is adjust the camber for ride height. Then when I'm parked I can slam it and I don't really have to worry about the camber then. I'm trying to think of a way to have the camber be correct independent of ride height. That would be ideal. We'll see... Maybe I can come up with something that does just that?
