So i bought an 05 dx.... as all of you know it lacks a tach. How hard is it to replace the dx guage cluster with an lx cluster? Will the Si cluster fit? and what other than the guage cluster do you actually need? Thanks a bunch.

just buy an aftermarket tach

what will work for you, as far as a direct and easy swap, is an 01-02 lx/ex cluster. just plug and play.

buy mine! I have a sedan automatic cluster from EX with tach and the backlight is custom changed to red like the evo. $120 shipped. Black face white numbers. fits 01-02 years.

i'm curious, what do most DX/VP owners get for an aftermarket tach? like what specific auto meter model or something. and where do you guys usually place it? on the dash? on the pillar (screwed on) or pillar podded?

just because its cool and does alot of other stuff and offers a digital tach and its not all that much and doesnt need to be installed i think its a cool litttle gadget. So im going with that one.
