Monster hoods

Thinking about getting a monster hood, but I don't want ran to run off the hood in the vents on to my engine. Does that happen or can you close the vent when raining. "Need more Input, more, more." - Johny 5 .. Short Circuit 2

I believe he is referring to the carbon fiber turbo/monster style vented hoods. I don't believe there is a way to close the vent unless you just want to lay something across it. Try emailing R1 or someone else that makes that style.

I would be alot more interested in a hood like that if it came in pre-painted OEM colors........

Some people go for the CF look, I on the other hand prefer a unified color scheme. No ragging, just my personal opinion.

Bro you aren't ragging, it just the truth. Why would anyone in their right mind want to be out on the road with a car that has an unpainted hood? It looks like you got in an accident and you are too cheap to actaully get your replacement hood painted.....

And the responders will say "But it weighs less than the oem hood.." Who cares? Is it really gonna matter? is it really gonna make your car faster or something? No, It's just ghetto.

CF stuff looks sweet up close but from a distance its not the same. But it all still looks good to me man.
Hell I am going to get some CF altezza's for the back.

But thats just my $0.02.

That is a pic of the Buddy Club style cf hood. The Monster style hood has a vent but it doesnt come out of the hood. It is set in the hood.

I have the Buddy Club style------> My cf hood
