Rep Power: 0 I have this hood. Really nice but comes with a hole in center of hood. Had to order a plastic M3 hood vent from BMW dealer which took 2 months and didn't quite fit right. Sorry, no pics but I'll take some in next few days. Right now we're under a haze alert from volcanic eruption on nearby island. Lots of ash and **** on my vic so I'll definitely be washing it soon as the wind shifts and air clears.

Rep Power: 0 here's a link to one pic: http://tinypic.com/a3f6gh.jpg Still trying to figure out how to post pics. Upload feature in member rides doesn't seem to be working. I tried web hosting - tinypics - but all I can do is post linky and not the picture. Oh well. I'll let you know when this is figured out, or give me an e-mail address and I can send a few more. It was very cloudy. Will take better pics later.

Rep Power: 0 In the above picture, you'll notice hood vent is not quite even with contour of hood. The size and shape were right on, but I think curvature of FI's hood is not exactly same as the BMW hood, which is why my body shop just couldn't get it to sit completely flat on front right side. Either that or its a defective hood, or vent, or lousy install. The hood itself is very best quality. I'll take close ups when sum comes out.

Rep Power: 0 ^^ No. Its just called M3 style because of the hood vent; only made for 7gvics. Looks aint so bad. Need to level vent and take better pics. Functionally, its 30 lbs lighter and the vent really does work - you can feel hot air escaping even at idle when fan kicks on. Seems like more space under hood for mods. Supercharger? Ok, just dreaming.
