Procarparts.com generic SRI - any experience
There's a $65USD generic SRI for the 01 civic @ this website. Has anyone ever gotten it, and if so, what are you experiences? (Specifically, how does it sound? any performance increase? and most importantly, how well does it fit & mount?)
Thanks

and to answer your question, heres something from another thread about them, not sure if its for the exact part you want though
<< There intakes for our cars are not right I had to cut it and the reducer(blue boot thing)is not right to big. Thanx procar car parts. I wanted to send it back but cause it fit wrong my hood scuffed the top and they would not take it big I had to work on it to fit. But the pipe is bigger than most intakes it looks that way to me. But oh well live and learn. >>

I have that intake when I bought it was $125 I am pissed I had to cut it because it was to high and I scuffed the top of it trying to close the hood. They would not take it back. The blue boot reducer thingy is to big. All in all it does not fit. You have to mod and use the factory rubber reducer. But it work good once you fix it.
Their $89.99 SRI for the 02 civic is only $46.00 shipped at www.xoxoparts.com

dont spend anything over 50 bucks for a generic intake, SRI or not.
I just got an AEM replicate (even includes the tranny cable) for er.. $53 shipped.
has a better filter too.. the seller is x3racing. they also have an AEM replicate DX/LX CAI (yes there's actually TWO AEM CAI for 01+ Civics)
i'm installing it right now..
this will be my 3rd intake. LOL. I buy them whenever I feel like having some noise. *snicker*
