window motor broken

well, it's not my civic window motor that is broken. it's my friend's blazer. the driver's window won't go up if she rolls it down. so i was thinking if she has to take it to a mechanic to do it, or can i just buy the part and do it myself? has anyone ever done it by themselves on their civic or other cars? thanks

changing a window motor is a b**** unless you have experience. It really depends on how much the motor costs. shouldnt take too much time labor if you take it to an experienced person.
