Just to warn you guys, I paid $60 for design engineering cool tube heat wrap for the metal intake. Its supposed to keep heat off the tube. The stuff is a piece of aluminum sided, heat resistant material with velcro. Well it looks and fits like crap. Anyway, this thing does not work at all!! I drove around town to get things nice and hot. Well I pull off some wrap to feel the intake and its as hot as ever! Maybe even hotter than before. Terrible product!

Time to buy the cheapo tape wrap. I always thought those things were a gimmick... thanks for confirming it, but I'm sorry it took $60 to do it.

ya whatever you put on will eventually get hot and heat up whats under it. It only prolongs the amount of time for it to get hot. Maybe track use only?
