Is there a OEM alarm install on the 2001 civic EX coupe? becuase i have a aftermarket alarm and i usualy here that one go off..but one day i hear a weird noise..different from the aftermarket i bought..is that the factory alarm or something?? plz answer asap. Rep Power: 0 Well, all the hardware is there for your 2k1 to have an alarm, but they don't put in the control box. If you hit your panic button on your remote, that may have been what you heard go off...happened to me today and it took me a sec to figure out what the hell happened....
