Cut-out Exhaust(Y-Pipe)**

Ok listen..my friends got a 99 Civic Si, with a Y PIPE, or CUT OUT, which is a pipe in your exhaust that u put before your CAT, to basically run straight headers. It gave a huge increase in his car. He even made his own SWITCH for it...so he hits the switch when he wants to run straight headers...and closes it when he wants to run, regular exhaust. Im thinking of putting it in my 01 CIVIC..it seems like a pretty good idea...it gave him a HUGE increase in power. I understand that u need back pressure, but thats why u dont hit the switch t'll you hit about 30MPH. To me it seems like a good idea..his cars LOUD as hell and quick as hell...hes even marketing the product and the switch. Im really considering the Y pipe..what do u guys think about it???
