harness bar

lately i have been building my own parts for my car i just finished with my trunk and now im goign to attempt to build a harness bar liek Lokars. Mine will be out of steel probally 1 " . i have tenzo seats with 4 poitn seat belts
they go directly from the holes in the back to the groudn nd they hurt when i hit bumps. i was wondering if i have to have the bar the same height as the holes in my seats or can i have it a lil bit higher? any one who knows please reply
thanks

You can have them level with the holes in the racing seat if you want too. Your just not supposed to have them connected like straight down behind the seat.
