05 civic special edition double din console?
well im looking to find this.. i havent talked to my dealer friend yet.. but i know it exists

heres what the stock 01-04 looks like, not sure what the 05 looks liek yet...


the special edition



notice, its not sparkly, and its a lot smoother.. i want it

What i see it has an imput, is it a 6 disc in dash? Also, it would be cool if it was the same color.

well tahts not waht im worried about.. notice the edge around the hole is smoother than the stock ones?

i think he's talking about the housing, since it doesn't have the little flip cover and the construction is built for a double din (or an LCD). try http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com or a dealer

go to honda and buy one...they're not that expensive. I had to get my center console replaced when some theives stole my deck because they ended up taking the whole centre console.
I remember Honda saying it was like $25 bux for the console... but the buttons and all that other crap was expensive.

Yea the Special Edition comes with the 6Disc CD Changer, leather wrapped steering wheel, different wheels, and the OEM spoiler. The Special Edition was only 200 bucks more then the standard EX at my local dealer.

As long as I know of, ALL 7th gen Civic has Double Din opening. The only thing is to find a kit that will make the stock console look nice. If you take the radio out, the four screw holes on the support frame will bolt on just like a double din.
