Enkei wheels
I just ordered some enkei 17" rims <CDR9's> and did some research AFTER I ORDERED THEM like a dumb. anyway, i ordered them through discount tire direct (tires.com) and did research for wheel weight at enkei.com. the CDR9 17" rim weighs 21.50 lbs by its self and the oem 15" wheel weighs 30 lbs with tire according to an earlier post. my question is how much is the entire wheel going to weigh with the 215/45 rubber. by the way they had good 17" rims in there that weighed 18lbs. yes its lighter but how light do they go.

I think the absolute lightest 17 " wheels u can get are the Volk TE-37's which weigh like 13.5lbs a piece- as for tires- i think they normally weigh around 20-25 lbs each.
Hey i bought some Enkei's in the summer and had a tire place put them on and i just changed back too my stock for winter. I noticed a big weight difference stock vs. Enkei's and the Enkei"s were definitely heavier,as for how much not sure. They look tight, but for the weight i'm nopt too pleased.
