Tinting? Cost? Color?
when doing tinting, you want to do it by percentages
the lower the percent the more you can see through the window
Another thing to consider is that if you have a dark interior
I was thinking about getting my Grey 04 coupe done and went to
a custom car fab man and he quoted me:
For Rear and 2 back sides: (limo-100%)
Driver & Passenger: 20% (black interior will make it look darker)
price: 275.00

numbers go backwards. so you guys are right the lower the %, the darker the tint. the percent number is how much visable light goes thru the tint.
i got 6% rear and 35% front, if i could go back, i would've done 20% all around. i have some trouble with reverse with such dark tint.
but if you live in a hot area like texas, i would go with a very very dark tint all around. they even have a tint layer/add on? that reduces the amount of heat that goes into your vehicle.

I have 10% all around.. it cost me 160 with a lifetime guarentee.. I'm going back and getting 5% put on all around with a 5% banner on the windshield and 35% all the way down my front windshield.. be like 200 with a lifetime guarentee and illegal as hell.
I got 30% in front, 20% in back, and limo 5% om the rear windshield
If I could do it all over again, definetly 20% all around, except id keep the 5% on the rear windshield. Love that, no one can see anything from behind! It takes getting used to when ya go that dark but a couple weeks and i was accustomed to it.
