casper electroics o2 simulator q's...

ive got a megan high flow cat right now and was looking for an o2 sim, i searched and found that a lot of people have been using the casper electronics one. its says plug and play...well, i may be a dumbass but what does it plug in to? i dont know much about oxygen sensors and o2 sims but from what i could understand about most of them was that they wired into the o2 sensor...but hey i could be wrong. also would the casper one work for ex's? im sure it would but it wouldnt hurt to ask.

My CEL didn't come on for a couple days after I installed my header. Yours will probably come on eventually.

Just get a MIL eliminator, costs $15.00 from bigjoshracing.com. Installed it with my kamikazi header last year and CEL has never come on.

ok guys I just hit 215 miles without any check engine lite....
I have a high flow cat header.... It might come back on but cycles on and off
Normal is about 50 to 100 miles it will change....
Maybe the weather here....
I have had the cat + header for about 90 days or so....

I have had the Casper for a long time and I love it. The easiest and nothing like that crap BJR sells...but you won't pass emissions if you have no cat, reguardless, as the inspector (if hes not too much a ****) to hold the probe about 4in or so from your exhaust pipe, then you'll pass, I did. lol.

It will remove the CEL the ECU throws up so that part won't fail.

well its just a way to bypass the catalytic converter's o2 sensor... most all o2 sims require you to have the o2 sensor physically plugged into the exhaust pipe due to a heater control unit on the o2 sensor that no one has been ambitious enuff to come up with something to bypass it yet
