important hp header???????
important hp header???????
i have a 2001 civic ex 5-speed. i searched the forums and people are saying that the hp racing with hi-flow catalylic converter, you will have to shave the motor mount with the ex 5-speed is this true? and also people are saying that they have came out with a slightly different design to fix that problem is this true? and also with the headers and hi-flow cat. converter will it fit a ractive mid-section pipe perfectly with no problem which is found at streetbeatcustoms.com? reply back soon please thanks.
whoa, one question at a time lol
i believe for the manual transmissions on the EX models, shaving the motor mount is required in order to fit the "hp race header" (the header thats bolts up to the OEM cat). i know i read it somewhere on the forums when i was searching for a new header but cant seem to find it. search "hp header", not sure if it'll work.
as for the ractive mid-pipe, is this the one your talking about?.. http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/tucms315.html

I had to shave mine. Not a big deal though also you will have to either notch the subframe or hammer a little ding in the one of the front header pipes. HP header works good but expect to do some mods to make it fit.
