installing dc sport headers at home
installing dc sport headers at home
is it easy enough to install dc sport 4-1 headers in my 2001 honda civic ex myself at home, im 18 with rising the car with floor jacks and just switching out the old headers with the new headers with basic tools? and if you could, can you tell me a basic step by step procedure. thanks

seriously it is a waste but whatever.....yea you can install them yourself man with your basic tools......take off heatshield....jack up car.....the rest should be pretty self explanatory there...bolt it up!

well i would start UNDER the car first... losen the 2 spring bolts on the downpipe...
you are probablly gonna need a breaker bar...
then do the heat shield.. 3 bolts they are usually pretty tight
then get the other remaining bolts...
altho i would have a can of blaster, extra bolts/nuts and whatnot availible.. unless you got another car to shoot over to the honda dealer real quick

installing header is real simple, but make sure you have 2 jack stands holding up the front and couple bricks or wood blocks under the wheels just in case.. you never know.. (knocks on wood)
ironfist did an DIY i believe on installing header. gotta search for it. be safe and take your time whenever working on something important, it seems like whenever rushing, your gonna find something wrong or do a sloppy job. goodluck
