Question Hardaware for Carbon Fiber Hood?

Hello guys,

I purchased a Fiber Images Carbon Fiber hood a few months back and haven't had the chance to install it on my car . . . until now. But before I start messing around with trying to put it on I was wondering whether there is any necessary hardaware that I may need to accomplish this feat? The hood came with two boards and two nuts and screws. Are these screws all I will be needing for installation or will I have to go out and buy some other hardaware before beginning this project?

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The hood should just bolt right up to the car the way the stock hood does/did. Try looking in the diy section. I believe carbonfly did a diy about installing a cf hood.

If i'm not mistaken.. when i got my hood.. the nuts and screws it came with were wood screws only meant to hold the wood on. I was told to use the screws and nuts that were holding on my original hood..

Thanks for all the info. Sorry for the incorrect spelling, it was 2:00 in the morning. I went to the DIY section and it was simple to follow. But I do have one more question...there's a strange groove in the front of the hood. Im wondering whether this is where you place the molding that comes off of the factory hood, and is it easy to do?
