For those with OEM sideskirts how low do they go? I want to get a set of them to go with the Mugen style lip I'm getting but am not sure if I will clear speedbumps with them. Do they go any lower than the jackpoints on the side of the car, and if so how much lower. Any help is appreciated.

It sits a bit lower, but not much. Maybe less than an inch. I can check later.

that'd be awesome, i just don't want to spend money on them if I'm going to rip them off on the trmendous speedbumps at my apt.

It's about 1 inch lower in the middle, maybe less. It's dark so I had to just feel it.

also, how do they attach? On older model civics/integras you could remove the factory side but it's not so on ours.

You first stick on an aluminum sill with double sided tape. Let it cure overnight. Then the skirt presses down and sits on it. There are bracket clamps on the bottom, and a screw on the side.

you talkin about the skirts that are pictured in the "civic accessories" brochure that ya get from the dealership?

i recently got a 7th gen, and was looking at those skirts too...very nice and clean, very expensive too.

we talkin bout the same skirts? lol

Hey man come to Savannah next week or so and Ill have mine on with a Neuspeed Race drop. I got the TypeR front lip and the OEM sides. What happend with ur tranny, I came back to work and your car was gone?
