carbon fiber hood

Hey I live in Omaha, Nebraska and I just wanted someones opinion on if a fancy carbon fiber hood is to much of a hassle with the with and if I should just go with a OEM style carbon fiber hood.

Thanks

P.S. if nobody knows what the weather is like here it is rainy every once in awhile in the summer and all the time in spring.

I got an OEM hood for sale, we can just pretend that it's a CF hood, then paint it to whatever color you want... then voila!!! painted cf hood!
