Rep Power: 0 I have them also. I really like how they add a sort of defining look to the wheel wells. Also my color scheme is red/black, so the black guards on the red exterior works well. I guess, like everything, its just a matter of preference.

Rep Power: 280 i have them. i've scraped them a few times and they pretty much scratched the paint where they rubbed on the body of the car. so i've been looking for some lip kits so when i take them off, hopefully the lips will cover what has been scratched.
they look alright. here's a pic of what they look like on my car. they kinda blen into the tire because of the angle.

Rep Power: 310 Mud guards were one of my first mods if you pay attention to the rear bumper during winter, you'll notice snow is kicked up from the rear wheels and builds up under the inside of the bumper, like it's a scoop. With mudgaurds, snow just builds up in the wheel wells and you can knock the chunks off with your foot. That and I hate when grime and road dirt get on the side of the car just a little behind the wheel wells, like I just went offroading or something
I don't know but I noticed after I put them on, the highway noise was louder (wind resistance?) and that probably causes the car to lose speed too, but who the **** cares its a Civic

Rep Power: 0 they dont hang that low, and they're right next to the wheel, so you can't damage them easily. Good upgrade in my opinion. I like your vic xxsovereignxx! What headlights are those?

Rep Power: 0 My only concern would be screwing up the paint worse that it would be if I hadn't installed them at all. The only way I'd consider doing it is if I put down a piece of clear vinyl or something behind the guard so it can't rub the crap out of the paint.

They dont look bad if your rolling stock, but if you got a drop, TAKE THEM OFF. They look retarted when your cars lowered, stock ride height they are alright, I had em.

Rep Power: 0 I have them on and love them. Everyone tells me to ditch them but they ride around with rock shipped lower quarter panels and I don't. Just take them off a couple to a few times a year and clean behind them and slap on a good coat of wax and you will be good.

Rep Power: 278 The mudguards DO rub the paint in one spot. I'd suggest clear vinyl in that area to protect the paint. Since I took mine off, the bottom of the car gets all sorts of crap flung on the paint. I'm putting mine back on. But I'm at stock height, so it's OK.

Rep Power: 0 I like mine. They're easy to install, and they do help keep the car clean...at least somewhat.
I agree with jwalker87 - they do sort of "finish out" the wheel well, IMO.
