I know this is going to offend you, but i really don't mean it to.

honda emblems that aren't stock = major rice.
every integra owner that can't afford paint, along with every civic "TYPE-R Si" owner has those ugly blue or red background ones. Either that or the biohazard ones which not only show you are a ricer, but you also like to take in in the ***.

^^ aw how nice.. but reall, either keep it stock or shaved.. I was gonna do that wink* but thank god I didn't end up doing it.. lol

well to answer your question.. I believe the ones we have in the front grill are wayy bigger than those in the pic... 7thgens emblems got bigger compare to old ones.. anyway, keep it stock if I were you... or not have any at all (buy buying different grill)....

agreed...your car doesn't rate a red "H" unless you actually are running a Type R..and then you would already have them.

By the way...the carbon fiber H doesn't really drop the weight enough to overcome the "rice factor"

The usdm ep3 (new si) comes with a chrome H in the front and alot of people have replaced it with a red jdm badge and it looks sweet. I havent seen many do it to 7ths; it may look really sweet. hes not looking at a freagin "R" badge or one of those super street ones.

are6 is on a distinguished road
hmm...well, each to their own, I personally like my red H's and don't plan on taking them off anytime soon....I don't really consider my civ too ricey...

As far as fitment, you will have to find a true Civic/RSX Type R ('01 and up) front emblem on ebay or jdmupgrade.com or somewhere. They are quite a bit larger than previous gen civs and nobody makes a knockoff as far as I know. I paid about $35 for mine off ebay. As for the back, it's a normal size, so I just bought one of those knock-off wanna-bee Type R emblems...still looks good to me.

I don't see wahts wrong with a red, blue, green or purple, "H", as long as the owner likes it? But yea the "H"'s in front are bigger then the ones on the back

It depends, it should say wether it's for the front or the rear... Like slvrcivic2k1 said, they're different sizes...

IMO (dont give a **** what others thinks), i think an background emblem can look nice depending on how you do it. exampe: if you like the red emblem to match your red engine cover, red wiring, painted red fuse box, etc... then it can be nice. i say do what u like to do if you think its right. its obviously nowadays that huge mufflers, stickers, unpainted kits, etc are rice. i dont see how an aftermarket "H" Honda red emblem can be rice when your putting back onto another Honda.

I have a set of white background emblems on my blue civic, I think it looks pretty cool, it goes with my white rims I use for autocross days. They got water in them though co theyre kindof yellowish, I just need to cleam them out & re seal them & theyll look good again. Actually I want an alteza or whatever grill on the front, so that'll take away the front one, shave all emblems off the back, then i'll just have the white H on on the back, I think thatll look pretty good.

And yes, the front ones are about twics the size of the back ones. Youll have to find a set with both sizes. They used to be all over ebay about a year ago, dont know if they still are, I paid about $30 for mine.
