Mini Tachometer

Has anyone used an auto meter Mini Tachs? By mini i mean anywhere from the 2 1/6 size to 3 3/4. I have a DX and want a tach BUT i dont want a MONSTER 5". I was wondering if the smaller ones are as accurate as a larger tach. THNX.

Pic above is a 2 5/8 pedastal mount

Yes they are accurate.
I used on in my 65 v-dub and it was great.
Less expensive than the larger kinds.

I think DX redline is 6500? I think LX is, too. They have the same engine, so check. The EX is 6800.

Someone here installed one of those smaller tachs on his DX. It looks really good, too. I can't remember who it was, but I think he did a DIY for it. Someone else probably knows who it was.
