Just because they are not a name brand doesn't mena they suck. I use to have Megan Racing header and it was nice. I think the first one looks better. IMO.

I don't think they're dissing megan. They mean buy a catback instead of a weld-on ricer muffler

Why should he buy a cat back? Maybe he wants to get custom pipping?

if i could do it over again, i would never have gotten the cat-back deal. just a muffler is good enough. custom piping is a must. these mufflers seem to look like they will be very loud and nasty. too big of a tip for me.

O I also have a megan muffler. Its the Megan G2 muffler. Sounds real nice. No ricey or rattling sound at all. Just a nice deep tone to it. I have 2.25 piping also.

Where can I find a spoon or Mugen muffler? My friend has a mugen muffler on his Del Sol it is awesome, it really adds to the JDM look. He said that his brother got it from Cali. Do you know of any places online?

After my CAI I bought a topspeed muffler with 2.25'' custom piping. Spending $190 bucks for a cat-back (muffler+custom piping) is a lot better to me than spending $400+ for something that is from a brand name. If their is a difference between custom and a exhaust system made from our cars, I doubt that their would be a noticable difference. Now I have the Megan Racing Header and Hi Flow Cat and the exhaust sounds really good to me. And even though they are just simple bolt ons people can tell a difference in the performance of my car.

You know Megan Racing makes a cat-back for the 7th Gen Ex. It comes with the muffler from the first pic also.
