I already asked this and never got an answer. Apexi makes a separate one, but it only works in their exhaust systems.

Yeah but how does that install in an exhaust? I see screws, so do you need to drill through the metal to attach it? And are these gonna be visible from the outside?

You will have to drill one hole. The bolt/nut is not very visible.

I bought mine off ebay.. you'll find 3.5", 4", and 4.5" universal silencers for like $10-20.

I installed mine without drilling.. I just found a bolt that would barely fit through the pre-drilled hole on the silencer and forced it in, thus tapping threads into it. I also cut the bolt size down so it wouldn't be visible, then painted a black circle on the silencer so you can't even tell it's in there from a carlength back

you can see I bent back the rim a bit to make the bolt hold better

Is there any high temp glue that would just hold it in?

it would have to be very high temp.. can't think of anything off-hand. but why would you want to permanently install it? surely you'd like to have the option to take it off, for when you sell it or go to a meet or whatever

All the sound it makes now is bass. Sounds louder than my sub and it's really annoying now. It got louder after I put the intake on. I guess I'll try and live with it for now.
