thermo tec products - need opinions

Hey, I'm looking at getting the Thermo tec COOL TUBE HEAT SHIELD and some Header wrap.

Anyone have any experience/comments about these? Also, anyone know of any good vendors (canadian preferred)??

Thanks

The shiny silver ****... and it works. Buy the reflective thermal tape and just wrap it, don't buy the lace up thing.
I always get it from Jeg's who I think ships to Canada.

and the old intake

sweet.
i love the custom intake you've made. I was reading your threads about it. How do you like it?

I kinda want the lace up cover, because I think it would look cool, I'm just wondering if it would work as good as the Header wrap. I'm probably going get the lace up thingy, but also buy an extra roll of header wrap, that way if I want to try it later I'll have it.

Unless that thing laces fully closed and tight around the pipe, you're going to have exposed metal.
The other thing is with the tape, you wrap it 1/2 over itself, so you end up with a double layer wrap, and you can run it as far down the intake as you want. The lace thing is only so long.
I guess you could use both and do better still....
