spedn the extra cash and get a SI wheel and do a little wiring and keep the air bag. I think the memeber Pharoh did this.

hey punk ..... coolest gif EVAH.... that owns everything on earth hehe

just get the damn wheel w/o airbag two reasons 1 theres not a huge number of fatalities that would be prevented by them and 2 even know there good cause they keep your face from getting broke or loosing teeth it would 99% of the time be the drivers fault and i personally have never been in an accident in the 10 years ive been driving and have avoided 100s cause of paying attention so unless your the fender bender type there are worthless

momo wheel and removing power steering coupled with suspension and wheel/tire upgrades have saved my life once and my car numerous times.

man blow me you know what I mean. I've never had one accident, and yes its possible to GET hit and need your airbag. head on collision? perhaps some dumbass last minute pulls out onto the road in front of you while you quite visibly were going very fast (had this happen to me once, going 90 down a 55 turnpike and some ******* van pulls in front of me literally when im less then 20 feet away from him. I was VERY visible, straight road, nobody in front of me till he pulled out. And he was waiting to pull out the whole time looking right at me then some reason decides that was the best time to do it. Thankfully my bud who was on the left of me reacted by swerving into the other side of the road so i can swerve into his lane, no WAY i woulda braked in time

If you have racing seats and four point belts you would never hit the bag if you had one. So I agree keep the bag or get an sir wheel till you have yourself strapped in.

Ok...first off I agree the best safety feature is you. However as a person who has driven cars for a living and a self proclaimed good driver, I have done the same at avoiding stucko cars, I was stoped at a police roadblock and was compleatly stopped when I was hit by a van doing 120 from behind. How do you avoid this when cops will shoot you in the face if you start running them over? Then one of the stopped people floored it out of fear and took the whole front of my car off. Try to avoid cars when your back bumper is up above your head and your unconsious. Try your hand at not walking or having sex for two years and not rememberr **** after having a photographic memory. I know a guy who was run over and killed in a parking lot....you can never asume the **** wont hit the fan cause it will.

6 million ways to die chose one............

But thanks for reinforcing my idea to keep the damn airbags intact, last thing i need is to get in an accident and in 5 years think hey i COULD have come out of that accident ok but i needed that momo steering wheel instead

I'll just look for an si wheel

i dono how it is where you live... but in nh, if you wanna go to new elgland dragway, you have to have an airbag if the car came stock with one. so if you took it out by using an aftermarket wheel, they wont let you race.
