DC 4-1 header
Thanx bro. My bolts shouldn't be that rusty, but I guess I'll find out what lies beneath. I look to buy a cat back system to go with it but I don't own a money tree so I take it one part at time. There aren't any really good aftermarket bolts on the shelf I should buy too are there?

I do suggest you buy the OEM gasket for the down pipe and the manifold depending on how old your car is. I forgot what they called the one on the down pipe....something like "A" pipe wtf ever, been so long.

The worst bolts are the ones on the cat....damn those things, you might as well get you a 12ft braker bar.....well maybe not 12ft...but a long one.

I hate reading that, a few DC owners expected miracles I guess.
when placed next to each other and measure the flange and diameter size.. the DC is larger. even the collector is too.
its almost the same because it has to be.. how else will it fit? heh.
IMO from all the header design, at least DC has longer primaries that should help loosen 1-2 hp at the top end.
IMO the thick ones with big tube diameters are what robs low end, sure you flow more but its a barely tuned engine (intake?) and its not going to flow a butt more. you lose plenty of velocity with that oversized diameter tubing.

so are the rest of the bolt ons with our car.
not like I like DC stuff, but people dont take that into perspective that the rest of the stuff dont do anything too.

There is a reason it isn't that large, because it has to pass CARB. all the other headers are not CARB legal!

I duno. DC use to have good products that are R&Ded and quality workmanship.. now its rather gay.
at least they manufacture their own stuff.
