you are not going to save much weight with si stock seats. Personally I would get sparco milano's or get some tenzo's.
I am a total autocross buff so I got the tenzo rally type, they are harder to get into but they hold you like a freaking glove

I've Got Sparco Torino's and I love them. Civic_Racer9 That little plug you are refering to is connected to the seatbelt harness and you have to remove that anyway and attatch it to your new seats abyway so that not a big deal. Install took all of 20 min for both seats tops but I didnt get the universal mounts. I ordered the ones made for our cars.

centurioncivic and others with tenzo r. Where did you put the connector for the seatbelt. like the plastic one that the seat plugs into. does it attach at the side of the seat. Im not talking about the ones under the seat.

heheheh ...learn from my mistake guys..never buy generic seats that come with universal sliders, those universal sliders will not bolt up to any bracket made for the car..what I ended up doing was having to weld the universl slider of the seat right to the bracket made for the civic....pain in the *** and major lesson learned on my part....go with momo, corbeau, sparco or bride and get the brackets specific for the car or u'll be welding away....btw the brackets made for the civic has holes for the seatbelt mechanism so its a easy bolt on install..all u gotta do is plug the sensor back up when everything is bolted on...one more thing...when u have the senson under the seat unplugged, DO NOT TURN ON THE IGNITION TO LISTEN TO YOUR RADIO as this will leave you with the SRS light on and ull have to reset this...a DIY on this is on the DIY section
