Well I'll post this again...since my last post go moved...swept off into another forum were it would go unnoticed.
So..Do you have a header? What do you think of it? What type? Noise difference? Worth it or not? All info would be greatly appreciated. I am thinking of getting a header and need some info from people who have them....recent/present info.

Rep Power: 0 yep...but I am looking for recent/present feedback. I could easily do a search but I want replies from people who actually have them now or did. Especially at this time of year. Thanks.

Rep Power: 0 before i got my turbo i had 4-1 hp headers, if you dont want to cut the mortor mount i would go with a shorty header, i dont kno if the gains are the same with the long vs the short tho, i had the long 4/1 and it was great, i think i might sell it too

Rep Power: 277 you dont have to cut the mount off, just shave on it a little.. if not it will rattle so bad you'll want to drive your car off a cliff...we had to undo two motor mounts and jack the motor up a bit to even get it in...i know hp knows of this problem, but doesn't acknowledge it...it would've help to know that info before we started...it would've saved a couple of hours! i'll send you pics if you want to see what the mount looks like if i can get a good pic in there

Rep Power: 388 the only headers worth getting are the hp and the kamikaze. if you are modding for racing be careful about what you buy. Any header will make your car sound louder. Gains are going to be neglible (1-3whp). you will gain some hp but lose some torque. If you get a header get the whole thing, header and downpipe. You live in FL so you don't have to worry about emissions so just get a high flow cat. If i were you i would get the full HP system from manifold to muffler.

Rep Power: 0 I don't think that HP makes one for the LX/DX, but OBX is exactly the same as Kamikaze and has a downpipe to replace the cat and is only $100.00 on ebay. I just bought that and the thermal r&d catback for my dx.
