Rep Power: 0 obx header for dx/lx
I recentley upgraded my mid-pipe and now im looking for a header with no welding needed. I know the obx is a direct bolt on w/ O2 sensors and all but... Has anyone used it? I want to know if it looks good, sounds good and performs at all? I used the search and it sucks by the way, no real info.

Rep Power: 344 are u guys talking about this one?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2460209497
if u are.. and u probably are.. since obx replica most of their products (the ex header is DC design, the dx/lx one u're talking about is kamikaze design)
so it probably performes and sounds (if any) much like a kamikaze dx/lx header.
for $100, u can't really go wrong.. *shrug*

Rep Power: 0 There is a guy on Ebay that makes some wicked stuff, most of it is made for him by OBX, his name is SSAutoChrome, check with him, he should be able to hook you up. Plus he is very reliable and excellent to deal with.

Rep Power: 0 If you go to ssautochrome.com you can get a full header back OBX exhaust for under $500.00. Their exhaust systems are 2 1/2 inches instead of 2 1/4. Sounds like good stuff.

Rep Power: 0 Ok i put on the header and it sounds great.
The cat is sold with the header but only fits the EX model.
So......No cats for the dx. It goes on easy with one exception.
The O2 sensor wires for the 1st O2 sensor must be lengthened.
I solved this (for now) by just re-monting the connection point.
It still leaves the wires way too close to the header.
I reset the ECU but the damn light comes on after about 10 mins of driving.
I'll try to get more info on that.

Rep Power: 0 I just installed it on my DX 2 nights ago with the Thermal R&D catback. I had to use a donut ring on the header so it would fit the exhaust without leaking. The O2 sensor is VERY close to the header. I also had to move the metal piece that is holding it so it would reach. The oxygen sensor reaches, but does nothing because there is no cat. My check engine light came on the next day, but I really don't care. I love it though. It is really nice and the weld job is professional on it. I recommend buying it. I also picked up some good top end power with the full exhaust and the AEM V2.

Rep Power: 0 Just MAKE SURE to find a way to make the top one fit by bending the piece over or something to make it fit. Your car will go into limp mode if the top one is not on.

Rep Power: 0 anyone else have a ticket almost written for our redesigned stock exhaust? A cop looked under my car and was like where is the cat? I had to educate him to where it was, he said he had never seen a car put the cat up there.
