I was wondering if there were any sides out there that look like the AERO sides and cost a bit less? or is $400 worth droppin on the real ones?

no there isnt. The Kaminari looks very similar but as far as imitation Aero sides there arent any.

dam.. now the question is... are the sides worth $400? i know it breaks down to about $200 each painted and factory fitting. which isnt such a bad deal... any input?

I have the aero kit and yes i think they are worth it. THink about it your getting garatneed fitment, color matching and its already painted. No down time. Yea its worth it. Talk to Greg at Hondawerx. Tell him Zak sent ya

thats the cheapest ive seen them. They are Honda so that right there means they arent gonna be cheap but once again you have to put into perspective what your getting. Fully painted, perfect fitting, color matched sides skirts. Good luck finding some cheaper that Hondawerx.com , i looked forever for those and that was the best place i saw

I found the sides for $314 + $27 for shipping. Its only for the coupe though. I never ordered anything from them before though. I want to get the side skirts as well, but i still have a lotta bills to pay.

the Aero kit is only available for coupes bro. And after the New year Honda decided to up the price of the Kit so that price isnt accurate. Thats what it was before the New Year.

i think the aero kit looks pretty good.. plus the fact that its OEM.. cant beat that. the front lip is just a bit too chunky for me.. but i think it still looks dam good. (if you got the money... go BOMEX!)

Yes i'm new to the site. I admit my car knowledge is low compared to others because i didn't really get into cars until i got my 2004 coupe in nov. Before that I drove hand me down cars for the past 5yrs. I did not know they only make the sides for coupes, but i have a coupe anywayz. I just stated it for the people interested in the sides with sedans. The price on the site i quoted has been updated as of January 25, 2004. It still states $314.82 for the aero kit sides on the site. The price might be incorrect, but the site saids its been updated today. If anyone is interested, i would suggest you call there 800 number to confirm the price. So kenshin how about you actually click on the link and check out the actual price before you start flaming people. I came to the site to learn more about civics and cars, not get flamed when i try to help out a fellow member.

I have the whole OEM kit on my ride... total cost installed was 750.. That was the price the deal gave me.. not bad i guess.... def durable.. we have already met the curb.. touched up with an airbrush and some fac. paint.. looks brand new.. now only if some drive enterance were not soo damn steep.... and my car isnt even lowered... lol.. all well

I love it, personally i like the fact that its OEM fitment, color matched, already painted and urathane. I think it brings out the structured look of the new design, it flows very well with the lines of the car.
As far as the site the price cant be right. My friend works at Honda and the place your refering to cant be selling it for that much. They would be losing all profit but good luck.

I read that the fog lights cannot be installed with the aero kit. Is this true since I want the aero kit, but I don't want to loose my fogs.

from the look of the aero front... it doesnt look like the OEM fogs will fit. might want to wait for a 100% confirmation though. if they dont.. why not go with the OEM factory lip kit, your fogs should be oki with that.

The 01-03 Aero will not allow OEM fogs, the 04 Aero kit however will. The 01-03 Aero covers the spot where the fogs go. Heres a pic of my front end
