Ok. I just got my Kamikaze header about a week ago and just now started noticing this problem. When I am driving and lets say I take second gear up to 40 mph then let off the gas, my ehaust gose weeeeeeeeee......po....po....weeeee. Kind of like a backfire but not nearly as loud. It feels like theres an air pocket or something. Does anyone know what this is?

Not sure what kind of noises those are. Almost might be a leak somewhere from not tightening everything. Did you install a new gasket when you put the header on?

i think its too much flow....and im guessing u have some kind of a cheap muffler.

cuz around where im at....i heear that **** all the time...where ppl buy cheap exhaust and its just sound horrible

prolly just a lil extra fuel going through the exhaust and burning off, i have a long tube header with no cat and it rumbles a lil when its winding down. when vtec kicks off it may lurch a lil and pop throught the exhaust too. if you ever heard any type of race car with an open exhaust ud probably hear alot more of that type of sound. i wouldnt worry about it, its common

dont worry about it nothings wrong its just common for engines to do that w aftermarket exhaust when ure letting off the gas. but thats really common w mickey mouse brand exhaust lol

did you torque it to the right specs. That is when you put the header on?

rally cars have a system that makes them "fire thry exhhast when they deccelerate"
