Oem Mirror Painting

THE PLAIN BLACK MIRRORS THAT COME ON TH LX AND DX MODEL CIVICS ARE PLAIN BLACK AND ARE UNPAINTED. INSTEAD OF PAYING FOR NEW NIGHHAWK BLACK MIRRORS I WAS WONDERING IF IT IS POSSIBLE TO PAINT THE ONES I ALREADY HAVE ON MY CAR???

i repainted mine 2 times and soon a third it works good the reason iit took a couple of imes is the first time i dindn't used to coarse of snadpaper then and now i'm repainting the whole car so i need to change the color. just make sure to use a good primer, base coat, and automotive grade claer coat. any ?s just pm me.

How did you paint them again? I applied several layers of clear coat but the surface isn't smooth. What have I done wrong?

I was too lazt to DIY so I just took it to the bodyshop and have em painted for $100. I rather have u take it to a shop better.
