Exclamation someone to do Auto window DIY?

A while ago I had what I think to be a pretty good idea on the auto passenger window down/up project (and sunroof too). You could time how long it takes for the window to go up. Then hook up a button so that, when you press it, it sends the electrical signals equivelant to you pressng the "up" button for that many seconds. Same with down, and sunroof up and down. You would keep the stock buttons intact, because you still need to be able to put them partially up and down, but make a new panel of buttons for this. It doesn't seem that difficult to me, but I don't know anything about electrical work. I PM'd Grey, the DIY GOD, about this, but he doesn't have enough time, which I respect. I was wondering if any of you other members have sufficient know-how in this area, or sufficient connections with know-how, and the time to pull this project off. I think it would be a nice addition to our cars, and one that wouldn't require too much work.
